Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 16, 2026

The short version. The tools on MyDailyKit run inside your own browser. The files you open and the text you paste are processed on your device and are never uploaded to us. We do not require an account, and we do not sell your personal information. We do use cookies, and third-party advertising partners may set their own cookies — both are explained in detail below.

1. Who we are

MyDailyKit (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates this website, which provides free online utility tools. This policy explains what information is and is not collected when you use it. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].

2. Your files and text stay on your device

This is the most important thing to understand about how MyDailyKit works. Our tools are built with client-side JavaScript, which means the processing happens in your browser, on your own computer or phone.

When you paste text into a formatter, open an image in the compressor, or load a PDF into the redaction tool, that content is not transmitted to our servers. We never receive it, never store it, and never see it. Closing the tab discards it.

One honest exception worth naming: a small number of tools rely on capabilities provided by your browser or operating system rather than by us. For example, the speech recognition used by our Audio to Text tool is a browser feature, and some browsers process that audio using their own online services. Where this applies, it is noted on the tool’s own page. That processing is governed by your browser vendor’s privacy policy, not ours.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us

MyDailyKit has no accounts, no sign-up, and no newsletter. We do not ask you for your name, address, or payment details. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us — for example, if you email us a support question.

Information collected automatically

Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider and any analytics or advertising partners may automatically receive standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, and the pages you view. This information is used to operate the site securely, understand which tools are popular, and serve advertising.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and web beacons. MyDailyKit uses them in the following ways.

Essential and preference storage

We store your light/dark theme choice in your browser’s local storage so the site looks the way you left it. This stays on your device, is not personal information, and is not shared with anyone.

Analytics cookies

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which tools are used most, and how the site performs. This is measured in aggregate and is not linked to the content you process in a tool.

Advertising cookies set by third parties

MyDailyKit is free to use and is supported by advertising. To make that possible, we work with third-party advertising networks and may display ads from partners such as Google AdSense.

These third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve and measure ads based on your prior visits to this website and to other websites on the internet. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and elsewhere. Third-party ad networks may also collect technical information such as your IP address and browsing activity for the purposes of ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and performance measurement.

We do not control these third-party cookies, and they are governed by the privacy policies of the companies that set them. As our advertising partners are finalised, this section will be updated to name them specifically.

How to control cookies

5. How information is used

We use the limited information described above only to:

We do not sell your personal information. We do not build advertising profiles ourselves, and we never use the content you process in a tool for any purpose — because we never receive it.

6. Third-party links

Our articles and tool pages sometimes link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.

7. Children’s privacy

MyDailyKit is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data — such as the right to access, correct, or delete it, or to object to certain processing. Because we operate without accounts and do not collect personal information directly, we typically hold no personal data about you to act on. For data held by our advertising or analytics partners, the controls linked in section 4 are the most direct route. You can always contact us at [email protected] with a request or question.

9. Data security

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Because tool data never leaves your device, the most sensitive information involved in using MyDailyKit is never exposed to transmission or server-side storage in the first place.

10. Changes to this policy

As new tools and advertising partners are added, this policy may change. Material updates will be reflected here, and the “last updated” date at the top will always show the current version. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
