Frequently asked questions
What is Open Graph, and why does it matter?
Open Graph is a set of meta tags (og:title, og:description, og:image, and more) that control how a link looks when shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms. Without them, shared links often show a blank or poorly formatted preview.
What image size should I use for og:image?
A common recommendation is 1200×630 pixels (roughly a 1.91:1 ratio), which displays well as a large image card on most platforms.
Why do I need separate Twitter Card tags?
X/Twitter reads its own twitter:* tags first and only falls back to Open Graph tags if they’re missing. Including both keeps the preview consistent across platforms.
Does this tool fetch or upload my page?
No. Parsing pasted HTML and rendering the previews all happens locally in your browser — nothing is uploaded or fetched from the internet.
