Frequently asked questions

What audio formats can I upload?
Any format your browser can decode — commonly MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, and OGG. Both clips are decoded with the Web Audio API and mixed into a single WAV file.
How does the fade and delay work?
The music fades in from silence over your chosen seconds, plays at the set volume, then fades out to silence before it ends. The voice starts after the delay you set, so listeners hear a musical lead-in before you begin talking.
How long is the finished intro?
It runs as long as the longer of the two: the music track, or the voice delay plus the voice clip. That way neither one gets cut off in the mix.
Are my audio files uploaded anywhere?
No. Both clips are decoded and mixed entirely in your browser using an offline audio context, and the WAV is generated locally. Your audio never leaves your device.
